پژوهش و نگارش : مسعود اسپنتمان ارد بزرگ میگوید آدمهای فرهمند به نیرو و توان خویش باور دارند همی تافت ز او "فر" شاهنشهی / چو ماه دو هفته ز سرو سهی به "فر" جهاندار بستش میان / بر گردن برآورد گرز گران کمر بست با "فر" شاهنشهی / جهان گشت سرتاسر او را رهی (فردوسی بزرگ) با واژه ی "فره" نخستین بار در اوستا آشنا میشنویم و در سرچشمه های پهلوی و نیکونبشتار فردوسی پاکزاد با آن خوی میگیریم. گفتار درباره ی فره میتواند نهند کتابی سترگ باشد. از این رو در کوتاه نبشته ی روبرو نمیتوان بونده آن را پرداخت کرد. فره در زبان پهلوی Xvarrah، در فارسی میانه پهلوی Farrah در چم نیکبختی، شکوه و درخشش است. "فره" نیروی کیهانی و ایزدی نیز هست. در اوستا از دو گونه فره نام برده شده است؛ یکی "فر ایرانی" یا "ائیریانِم خوَرنَه" و دیگر "فر کیانی" یا "کوائینیِم خوَرنَه". در بندهای یک و دو از "اشتاد یشت" آمده که فر ایرانی از ستور و رمه و دارایی و شکوه برخوردار است و بخشنده ی خرد و دانش و در هم شکننده ی ناایرانیها...
